South Jordan or Sandy/South Jordan is a commuter rail station under construction in South Jordan, Utah, United States as part of UTA's FrontRunner South line from Salt Lake City to Provo. The station is planned to open with the rest of the line before 2015.
The station will be located along the west side of I-15 a few blocks north of Utah State Route 151. Though the station is in South Jordan and its surroundings to the west are now undergoing greenfield development, it is also very close to Sandy's downtown area, and especially the South Towne Center mall, right across I-15 to the east. The destinations in Sandy are not currently accessible from the station site without detouring several blocks to the north or south, however. Existing destinations west of I-15 that are accessible from the site include several office buildings and Salt Lake Community College's Miller Campus.
